Suggestions & Guidelines for Online Meetings

If you wish to attend a meeting by video, it is recommended that you install the software well before the call to iron out any kinks. It is also suggested that you dial into the meeting early, to make sure your microphone and speakers are working.

If you do not wish to share your webcam during the meeting, then you might wish to upload a photograph of yourself, so that people can still see who you are.

If you are using Zoom on a desktop computer, then switching the view to “Gallery view” will display everyone at once (up to 49 people), which some people find makes it more like a face-to-face meeting.
